Marc Chawner started playing bridge as a teenager at Southend High School for Boys. His talent was spotted and it wasn't long before he was playing bridge all over Europe. In 1983 he won the Under 26 Championship Pairs.
Work and family life took over in the 1990s but with his partner, Paul Spencer, Marc continued to do well in the European and National Competitions including playing for England.
In recent years, Marc has been commissioned by Essex Bridge to help improve club play across the county. His seminar series and bootcamps are immensely popular and over-subscribed.
Bridge Buddy is Marc's way of sharing some of his thoughts with you.
